“Potential renters beware! Staying at this property was a very unfortunate experience. As a host myself, I can of course understand no stay will ever be “perfect”, however this was truly an experience I could never in good faith suggest to anyone. For starters, this “Mark” host does not exist - the home is managed by some company of people who have clearly never stepped foot on the property and actually have no clue what is happening there. Additionally, you speak with a new person every time you call. I will say that they are “quick to reply” but the replies usually don’t provide much value, other than saying someone will “find out for you” and they don’t. The home was filthy - we found dried contacts, hair in the showers, mold on the ceiling, and to top it off a dead mouse stuck to an old trap. I spent a significant time cleaning before I felt comfortable having my kids in the home. I am very disappointed that the Airbnb host/owner is even able to promote themselves as this “Mark”
“The place is beautiful and the location was great. Lots of space for our family and we loved the hot tub. This place only has ONE parking spot available! The additional parking they recommended was 15 min away at another hotel, but the hotel told us we would be towed if we parked there. Seems like a place that sleeps 10 people should have more than one parking spot.”
“Place was perfect for staying in Alta.”
“We had a really nice stay, it's a beautiful place.”
“My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The space was calming and peaceful, with lots of little touches that made it feel comfortable, like the humidifiers and card games for the kids. It was incredibly quiet at all hours of the day. We really felt like we were in our own little mountain oasis, despite seeing plenty of other people around. Not having to do laundry or any additional chores at check-out after a long weekend spent running around the mountains was an unexpected and much-appreciated bonus. We'd definitely stay here again.”
“We had a great stay with six people (three couples) for a wedding at Alta. The townhome had plenty of space for everyone, and it was great to have a comfortable living room, kitchen, and dining table for the weekend. We could walk to the wedding venue mostly off the main road, which was a huge plus. Overall, it was a pleasant stay!”
