Arlo/Hikvision is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. NoiseAware is a decibel monitoring system that we use to keep in accordance with local noise regulations.

Our home sits in Savin Hill, a small hillside neighborhood in Dorchester that locals tend to keep to themselves. Streets here are lined with Victorian houses, and the area mixes longtime residents with young professionals and artists drawn by the easy commute and the quieter pace. Savin Hill is one of Boston's beach neighborhoods, with Savin Hill Beach and Malibu Beach both part of the Dorchester Shores Reservation, and the Savin Hill Yacht Club has been on the waterfront since 1875. Local bars, restaurants, and galleries are within walking distance. All guests receive a list of local recommendations after booking, including favorite spots, restaurants, and activities.
The JFK/UMass Red Line station is about a five minute walk from the home, and the Red Line runs directly into downtown Boston in roughly 15 minutes. Rideshare into downtown typically takes around 10 minutes. Bluebikes stations and rideshare services are both readily available in the neighborhood, and I-93 is close by for guests driving in. This unit does not have a designated off street parking space, but free on street parking is available on several nearby streets within a short walk.

“We stayed at David’s place for the Boston Marathon. It was clean and adequate for our needs. Note that there are several rollaway cots in the bedroom closets, so the house can accommodate a larger group. With 6 people, we weren’t a large enough group to make use of them but I think the combined living room/kitchen area would have felt a bit cramped with a larger group.”
“Fantastic AirBnB! 7 of us were visiting and it comfortably slept everyone. There was plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, plates, utensils, etc. Overall great choice for larger groups. And it was a five minute walk to the train station, which was very helpful. David gave some fantastic recs in the area and was very easy to communicate with.”
