Getting around
We are within walking distance to Forsyth Park, SCAD, and other area landmarks. Uber is a convenient and cost effective way to get around, and Savannah is a bike-friendly city with plenty of rental outlets. We are located about 20 minutes away from the airport by car.

“We were asked to change locations after booking, and given three choices. Our new location was cheaper and we were refunded, but it was also quite a ways further from downtown. The AirBnB listing was never updated, which made things a bit confusing. Emails seeking confirmation were not returned for a few days, so I was worried. The house itself is gorgeous, and in walking distance to some cute neighborhoods a bit off the beaten track. A Krogers is .3 miles away, which is helpful. We suggested to Heirloom that they have a House Instructions document that is sent on arrival day giving info about WiFi, garbage, parking, how to work the locks etc. (The rear gate lock was intermittently functional). The Heirloom folks were extremely responsive with phone calls and checking in, but they didn’t seem terribly experienced. The beds are comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and the decor was great. Overall, we’d stay there again.”

“Jay's place was as described and his team was very communicative and responsive, even dropping off hangers when we requested them. Unfortunately the water pressure in the showers was almost non-existent...like a trickle. I think there is an economy to be had if you are really maxing out the sleeping arrangements but for our group of 6 we would have had a more comfortable stay at a hotel for this price.”

“Had a great stay at Jay’s place! Had a small issue with the thermostat upon arrival and he was extremely communicative and had a team come out to fix it immediately. House was very clean and comfortable, had everything we needed!”
