The space
You have the entire two story Victorian home to yourself, along with the private rear courtyard. The First Floor holds the living area, dining room, and eat in kitchen, with the dining room opening directly onto the courtyard, and the bedrooms are split across both floors. The location
Our home sits at the southwest corner of Forsyth Park in Savannah's Historic Victorian District, the city's original streetcar suburb and one of its most walkable neighborhoods. Entire streets here are lined with preserved Victorian homes in bold colors, with turrets, bay windows, and intricate trim. Forsyth Park is at your doorstep, including its 1858 fountain and the Forsyth Farmers' Market held at the south end of the park every Saturday. Walk north along Whitaker or Bull Street for boutiques, galleries, and restaurants. All guests receive a list of local recommendations after booking, including favorite spots, restaurants, and activities.
Getting around
This is a neighborhood built for walking, with short city blocks and a pedestrian and bike path running the perimeter of Forsyth Park. Savannah is bike friendly and rental outlets are widely available. Chatham Area Transit serves the district on several bus routes, and the city's free dot Express Shuttle connects Forsyth Park to the rest of downtown. Rideshare is easy to find.

“Great location for our stay. The house is beautiful and spacious. It’s a very old house and has a lot of character. The floors are a bit uneven in places - and the upstairs was a lot warmer than the downstairs, but we had an amazing stay. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Enjoyed our stay overall and would stay again if the following issues were addressed: There seem to be termites in a very humid room upstairs. It is clear they know only that room has an issue because it was the only one with a humidifier in it. Vine growth had made its way inside the window and it was surprising that no one from the cleaning team caught this given that the house is run by a company. They also do not seem to tend to the area rugs as there was pet hair on top and dust under them. Other noticeable wear and tear but overall nice historic house. The customer service team worked to fix the bug issue while we were there and were very communicative with me. It helped get the bugs away but the humidity in only that room plus the vines growing indoors were not resolved and passed on to management. Waiting to hear back from management as we stayed first week of August and it is now the end of the month.”
