The location
Located a quick 2 min walk away from Forsyth Park, our home places you at the doorstep of Savannah’s acclaimed food and art scenes. Check out the SCAD Museum of Art, or spend the day shopping and dining along the riverfront. There are a few homes in the neighborhood that need to be renovated, so while this could still be considered a transitional neighborhood, we have never had any safety issues. As far as safety is concerned, common sense is the general rule of thumb, just like in any major city. All guests after booking will receive a personalized list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.
Getting around
Our home is located in central Savannah which makes it easy to get around. We are within walking distance to Forsyth Park (2 minute walk) and SCAD (12 minute walk) and other area landmarks. Uber/Lyft is also a convenient way to get around, and Savannah is a bike-friendly city with plenty of rental outlets. We are located about 20 minutes away from the airport by car.

“We had a group of 8 people, and all of us had a wonderful visit! The home is beautifully decorated, and was more spacious than the photos (which was a pleasant surprise). The home is super walkable to shops, bars, and restaurants - or a quick Uber ride if you’re going more outside the neighborhood. It was a few people’s first time in Savannah, and we all enjoyed it thoroughly by being in such a central location. Would definitely recommend it for a larger group of people!”

“Jay was a very responsive host and easy to work with. Unfortunately, the size of the Airbnb felt smaller than the photos portrayed and the location/street had lots to be desired for. Overall, I would not book this location again. The cleaning of the house could be improved upon; there was visible dust on things and bathrooms could use a deep cleaning. Walking distance to things, but I wouldn’t walk alone or in a small group - ESPECIALLY - at night.”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautifully decorated Airbnb in Savannah, GA, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The location of the property was incredibly convenient, especially for those looking to explore River Street and all the attractions nearby. The host was exceptionally kind, friendly, and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. However, it is important to note that the parking situation at this location was a notable drawback. Unfortunately, the only option available for parking was street parking, and it operated on a first-come, first-served basis. Moreover, the neighborhood surrounding the property raised some safety concerns, making us hesitant to park far from the house. Regrettably, this led to an unfortunate incident where we received citations on a Tuesday due to the street sweepers needing to clean the area after hours. Despite the parking, everything was perfect.”
