Savannah, Georgia, United States
The Beach Institute neighborhood is an architectural and cultural gem. Beautiful historic homes line the lush, green streets and the atmosphere is vibrant and creative. Our home is located on a tranquil tree-lined street in a quiet and residential area. Nearby are many points of interest including Crawford Square, Flannery O’Connor’s childhood home, and the Beach Institute African American Cultural Center.
Getting around Savannah from our home is a breeze! We are less than a mile from downtown and River Street, a 15-20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. Uber is also a convenient way to get around, and Savannah is a bike-friendly city with plenty of rental outlets.

“When we first got there, I accidentally typed in the wrong code which locked us out. I sent him a message and within two minutes he was able to reset the code so we could get in. Very responsive. The garage was just enough space for us to get our car in. It was really nice to have an attached garage to where we were staying. The house was in pristine condition was very clean and had everything you could possibly think of that you would need if you needed to cook throughout the week. It rained pretty much the whole week we were there so we did not get to use the plunge pool. Probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. I highly recommend staying there. Everything was in driving distance mostly because we had to drive because of the weather. I rate this five stars. It was overall a wonderful experience. One the thing that stands out the most is how responsive our host was with any questions that we would have.”
“great location in the historic district! Very walkable and accessible. A wonderful and responsive host.”
“Save your money and your sanity. This was a nightmare from check-in to check-out. We paid an additional pet fee to bring our dog, and that was the first and last thing that went smoothly. When we arrived, we parked in the garage with zero instructions on how to actually get into the rental — we were left standing there trying to figure it out ourselves after a long drive. We stayed in the guest house while five renters partying in the main house made the whole property feel like a liability. It got loud and chaotic enough that the cops were called on them. The cops also informed us that a neighbor that is disgruntled with the rental property will “slash your tires” We paid for access to a shared pool but didn’t feel safe using it with that circus going on next door. The walls in our space were stained with spilled drinks, like nobody had bothered to clean or inspect the place before we checked in. The cherry on top: after we left, Juan called claiming we left dog hair behind and tr”
“We enjoyed our stay and appreciate Jay accommodating us for a stay at the townhome and cottage. The home and cottage were both roomy and great for our group. Our only issue was that the off-street parking wasn't available as noted in the listing. Otherwise, everything was great.”
“Beautiful place on a quiet street. Short walk away from a square and coffee shop. The pool is an amazing added benefit!! We loved our stay and Jay was very responsive!”
“The place was as described, we enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and host was responsive when we had questions. Lots to do in the area as well!”
