The Beach Institute neighborhood is an architectural and cultural gem. Beautiful historic homes line the lush, green streets and the atmosphere is vibrant and creative. Our home is located on a tranquil tree-lined street in a quiet and residential area. Nearby are many points of interest including Crawford Square, Flannery O’Connor’s childhood home, and the Beach Institute African American Cultural Center.
Getting around Savannah from our home is a breeze! We are less than a mile from downtown and River Street, a 15-20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. Uber is also a convenient way to get around, and Savannah is a bike-friendly city with plenty of rental outlets.

“The house, the owner, and management team were amazing. We brought 14 friends for a bachelorette and everyone fit comfortably. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we really enjoyed the mini pool. It was easy to get to downtown by walking or taking an Uber. The only issue we had was with the neighbors. If you’re going there for a bachelorette/bachelor party, or with a group of friends to have fun, be extremely mindful of one neighbor in particular. We stayed 3 nights from Thursday to Sunday. Each night, our music was off at 10 pm and the latest our group was outside in the pool was 1130 pm. We never received any notification from the neighbors that they were frustrated with us being loud until one neighbor tried to break into the house, banging on the doors and windows AFTER we were in bed at 1030 on our last night there (Saturday). We called the police who came but the guy came back again after they left, so we were forced to call again. It was extremely scary.”

“The house is so cute plenty of bathrooms. We had the guest house as well. It was not cleaned when we got there, but they resolved it very quickly. Anytime we needed they were very responsive and called us back within minutes. It was about a 15 minute walk to the shopping District very cute neighborhood felt totally safe.”
