You will be walking distance (less than 5 minutes) to the French Quarter and the convention center, and biking is another fun and convenient option, with scores of rental shops to choose from. “This was our first time in NOLA. I booked this stay for myself (F42), my husband (M42), our kids (son 21, daughter 20, and our exchange student F15). There was plenty of space for everyone. We were within walking distance to most attractions, although my daughter uses arm crutches/wheelchair, so I’ll let you know now, that NOLA sidewalks aren’t “it” for wheelchairs. The listing lists a tub, but pictures show there isn’t one. We didn’t need one, but if you have small kids, heads up. You can also hear everything that goes on out front, at all hours, the French Quarter is a happenin’ place. I’m not sure if the other apts are actual tenants or are rented out weekly like we did, but we constantly heard the other downstairs door slamming all day and night, and there was at least one child upstairs running very early mornings, and it sounded like they were bowling :) I’m up early anyway, so it was no bother, but just letting people know. Appliances worked, although showers lacked pressure”
