Jamaica Plain, known fondly to locals as "JP," is one of the hippest neighborhoods in Boston. The area is known for its amazing green spaces and culinary scene; take a 5 minute walk to the scenic Franklin Park arboretum, or pick up a taco from Chilacates. JP's close proximity to downtown Boston makes this the perfect place for guests who want to explore the city while enjoying the local flavor of this quintessential Bean Town neighborhood.
Catch an orange line train from Green Street (5-8 minute walk) and you'll be in downtown Boston in about 15 minutes. If you're exploring Centre Street, take the 39 Bus to Back Bay Station. JP is also the most bike-friendly neighborhood in Boston; the Southwest Corridor Park stretches to Back Bay and is well worth the ride. Didn't bring your bike with you? Rent a Bluebike, Boston's bicycle sharing program, for $10/day. The closest Bluebike station is 3 blocks away from our home. Should you choose to bring a car, please be advised there is only on-street parking available. We advise all our guests to observe street signs and street cleaning days to avoid getting a ticket.

“Visiting Boston for our son's graduation and we had a great stay at Mitchel's. First thing my family said was "This is the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed at!" Kudos to the cleaning staff! Place was beautiful and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Walking to the T was quick and easy. There are not a lot of restaurants within walking distance. We did try the Evergreen Eatery a few blocks away and it was outstanding. There are several restaurants within a short drive. In typical Boston fashion, parking is at a premium. The parking stall provided was great but can be a tight if you have a larger vehicle. Extremely happy with our choice of stay!”
“The place is incredibly spacious and perfect for our family of 10! Mitchel and his team were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire stay.”
“Great apartment in nice location in Boston. Clear, comfortable spot. Highly recommend!”
“We very much enjoyed our stay here. The space was perfect for our group of 7 (6 adults, 1 child). It was also conveniently walking distance to the green st T station (7 min walk) and a few bakeries/cafes. We were able to find street parking for our 2nd car right in front of the property.”
“Mitch was very responsive before & during our 5 night stay. Pricing is a bit on the high end but the location was good for us- a mix of young adults and middle aged adults and the space was clean and fit our family of 9 comfortably. We didn’t rent a car since the T is a few blocks from the house. The Charlie 7 day pass for $22 worked out great for us and we used Uber services whenever needed. We visited a nearby cafe, Third Cliff Bakery, for delicious coffee, matcha & amazing baked goods Fri-Sun. Be aware that they’re closed Mon & Tue. We didn’t cook a whole lot but when we did, the kitchen had the basics- salt, pepper & olive oil, pots and a pan. We had groceries delivered since there are no grocery stores nearby and also picked up some groceries at the Trader Joe’s near the wharf- Uber’d back from here! The neighborhood can be lively at night, but after walking around the city all day, we were usually too tired to notice! Overall, we had a very good stay.”
“The apartment looked exactly like the pictures. Clean, comfortable accommodation. Check in/out was a breeze. Mitchel was very responsive. The rules for the rental were clear. The 1st night of 9ur stay the neighbours music was a bit loud and continued into the night. In spite of that I woul recommend and rent again.”
