Jamaica Plain, known fondly to locals as "JP," is one of the most characterful neighborhoods in Boston, known for its green spaces and its food scene. Centre Street, lined with restaurants, cafes, and independent shops, is about a 15 minute walk, and Chilacates is a local favorite for tacos. The Arnold Arboretum and Franklin Park are both a 20 minute walk or a short drive away. JP's proximity to downtown Boston makes this a great base for guests who want to explore the city while enjoying the local flavor of the neighborhood.
Green Street station on the Orange Line is about an 8 minute walk and puts you in downtown Boston in roughly 15 minutes. The 39 bus runs to Back Bay Station. JP is one of the most bike-friendly neighborhoods in Boston and the Southwest Corridor Park runs from Green Street all the way to Back Bay. Bluebikes, Boston's bike share program, is available for $10 per day and the closest station is 3 blocks away. Rideshare is widely available throughout the neighborhood. There is no driveway parking at this home, though free on-street parking is available without a permit.

“It was the perfect spot for our group! Bedrooms had enough space and it had a great kitchen! Bed, pillows and blankets were great! Easy check in/check out. A guaranteed parking spot out back was great but there was also enough street parking. Mitchel was very helpful throughout and accommodated a slightly early check in which was very helpful!”
“Mitchel's place was the exact right size for our group of six. When you enter, you are in an open space with a big L shaped couch and several chairs. The kitchen is open to this area and has a large dining table. It made gathering easy which was perfect and what we wanted for our group. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are a good size. There is also a balcony off of one of the bedrooms which is nice. A couple in our group took a walk one morning and brought back delicious pastries from a nearby bakery. I wish I knew the name but alas I don't. It is not the closest one though and, apparently, you will recognize it by the long line out the door.”
“We very much enjoyed our stay here. The space was perfect for our group of 7 (6 adults, 1 child). It was also conveniently walking distance to the green st T station (7 min walk) and a few bakeries/cafes. We were able to find street parking for our 2nd car right in front of the property.”
