Our home is located on the southern edge of the eclectic Upper Boggy Creek neighborhood. This neighborhood is known for its diverse mix of graduate students, young professionals, as well as its quiet, tree-shaded streets & offbeat local businesses. While you're a quick 6 minute drive from downtown Austin here, there is no shortage of things to do in the immediate vicinity, such as picking up coffee at Bennu or a beer at Sour Duck Market. This is an ideal location for groups who want to access the best parts of Austin, but stay in a quiet neighborhood removed from the craziness of 6th Street. All guests after booking will receive a personalized list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.
While this is a walkable location with no shortage of things to see and do in our immediate surroundings, our neighborhood also allows easy access to other popular parts of Austin. There is 1 dedicated off-street parking spot available for your use. There is also free on-street parking on surrounding side streets should you bring more than 1 vehicle. There is a stop for the 18 bus high-frequency route across the street which can take you to the heart of downtown Austin (near the Capitol) as well as the UT Austin campus.

“Daniel's place was overall pretty nice. The biggest complaints from my group was that it was difficult to get into and out of the driveway as someone has to hop out of the car to open the gate. Backing out especially requires extra attention as you back out into the street. Additionally, we found some marks and wear and tear in the rooms from previous guests. For example, in the bathrooms there were some stains on cabinets, walls and shower linens. Nothing too gross, just small details to note.”
