The location
Jamaica Plain, known fondly to locals as "JP," is one of the hippest neighborhoods in Boston. The area is known for its amazing green spaces and culinary scene; take a 5 minute walk to the scenic Franklin Park arboretum, or pick up a taco from Chilacates. JP's close proximity to downtown Boston makes this the perfect place for guests who want to explore the city while enjoying the local flavor of this quintessential Bean Town neighborhood.
Getting around
Catch an orange line train from Forest Hills (10-12 minute walk) and you'll be in downtown Boston in about 15 minutes. If you're exploring Centre Street, take the 39 Bus to Back Bay Station. JP is also the most bike-friendly neighborhood in Boston; the Southwest Corridor Park stretches to Back Bay and is well worth the ride. Didn't bring your bike with you? Rent a Bluebike, Boston bicycle sharing program, for $10/day. The closest Bluebike station is 7 blocks away from our home. Should you choose to bring a car, please be advised there is only on-street parking available. We advise all our guests to observe street signs and street cleaning days to avoid getting a ticket.

“We had a great stay at this Airbnb and would happily recommend it to others. The house was very well maintained, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed during our visit. The host was friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated their flexibility in allowing us to extend our stay and check out a few hours later, which made our departure much more convenient. “Great stay for the family, plenty of beds! The place was clean and host was very responsive. One downside is that it’s managed by a company so it didn’t feel too homey but not a major issue for us. The train station is only about a 10 minutes walk away and will you all the way into the city. We caught a Red Sox game and took the train there and back easily. I felt like we paid more than we should have for the location and stay. Wish there were better refund options pre-stay. Still a great place if you can get it for a good price. I recommend this place for your next Boston trip! Would for sure come back to stay again if the pricing is good!”

“We were attending our son‘s graduation this past weekend and this place suited us for the number of rooms and somewhat close proximity to where we needed to be. Everything about the place was inviting and we had everything and more that we needed based on what was provided. I will say as others have said that if you’re on the first level, you will hear the noise above so maybe ask for the higher units if you’re looking for complete peace and quiet. I knew what to expect based on others input, but we were not able to get some of our guests up higher stairs due to mobility issues. I’m still so glad that we stayed here and recommend it to others!”

“Good stay, responsive host. Home was very clean. Parking on the street was ok. The only draw back is the noise and footsteps from upstairs however, I was aware prior to booking as it was indicated in the listing.”
