Access is exclusively through the outdoor courtyard area rather than from inside the house, creating a standalone suite experience. This setup offers enhanced privacy and separation from the main living areas, ideal for guests seeking a quieter or more independent space. Requires going up 1 step to enter. 🛁 Bathroom 1: Ensuite to Bedroom 1 Second Floor 🛏️ Bedroom 2: 1 Queen bed (ensuite full bathroom) This bedroom is not directly connected to the main interior hallway. Upon reaching the second-floor landing, access requires stepping out onto the balcony. From there, a short staircase of 7 steps leads down to the private entrance of the bedroom. Walking around the Central Business District is easy and accessible! You will also be less than a 10-minute bike ride to the French Quarter. Biking is a fun and convenient transportation option, with scores of rental shops to choose from. Uber and Lyft services are easy and affordable in this compact city. Retail hub Magazine Street is just a short cab ride away, as are some of the city’s other hip neighborhoods, Bywater and the Marigny.

“We had a great stay at this Julia Street Airbnb! The location was perfect, walkable to the streetcar and super convenient to all the activities we had planned around New Orleans. The place itself was absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Our kids were obsessed with the “secret bathroom” and hidden vanity, such a fun and unique touch! Parking can be a little tricky at times, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We’d definitely stay here again!”
“We had such a lovely stay. The townhouse was truly beautiful. The unusual arrangement of the rooms, with two bedrooms having exterior entries within the courtyard, was both charming and provided a ton of privacy for us. My teenagers loved having their own semi-private quarters. Every room was pristinely clean. I spilled some tea in the kitchen and when I wiped off the floor no dirt at all came up. Bathrooms felt fresh and current. We had a little confusion about access to certain doors but the Heirloom team was so quick to respond to messages that it was no problem. The location is more commercial than residential, but we could walk both to the French Quarter and the Garden District, so we loved being there. Should we return to New Orleans, I would love to stay here again.”
