Located a quick 2 min walk away from Forsyth Park, our home places you at the doorstep of Savannah’s acclaimed food and art scenes. Check out the SCAD Museum of Art, or spend the day shopping and dining along the riverfront. There are a few homes in the neighborhood that need to be renovated, so while this could still be considered a transitional neighborhood, we have never had any safety issues. As far as safety is concerned, common sense is the general rule of thumb, just like in any major city. All guests after booking will receive a personalized list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.
Our home is located in central Savannah which makes it easy to get around. We are within walking distance to Forsyth Park (2 minute walk) and SCAD (12 minute walk) and other area landmarks. Uber/Lyft is also a convenient way to get around, and Savannah is a bike-friendly city with plenty of rental outlets. We are located about 20 minutes away from the airport by car.

The house had everything we needed for our group and made the weekend so easy and enjoyable. “This original location in Downton Savannah became unavailable due to unexpected construction less than 3 weeks before our arrival. We were offered a new location for the same cost. I communicated several times with reps, who were responsive, to see if it would be a good fit for our group (GS Troop of female teens and adult women); citing my priorities for a safe, well lit area. The home given sits in a transitional and not well lit area, at best. There were “exchanges” happening at the corner one of the nights. It was not safe to be walking with teens. Something I specifically asked. We also were told the bus was frequent, it was NOT. We were also sent a list of food delivery locations - 2 had been closed for 2-3 years. While we very much understand that unexpected incidents occur and we appreciated the intent to move us to another rental, I firmly believe we were given answers to “keep the sale/money”. As a means to work through it, I arranged a call for earlier today. It never came”
