There is a short flight of stairs to access the kitchen. Stairs are required to access the pool from. The unit has locks with door codes. Codes and other check-in details will be provided via message and texted to your phone on the day of check-in. *Please note that although an Innkeeper is onsite for all reservations, guests will have exclusive use to the amenities described above.
You will have complete privacy here, however every question or concern you may have before or during your stay will be promptly addressed via messenger or phone. In the case of a maintenance emergency, our ground team is available to assist you. Entry is keyless; there’s no need to coordinate key pick up.
HOUSE DISCLOSURES –We try our best to accommodate early check-ins, but we want to ensure the entirety of the spacious estate is clean and prepared for arrival. We can often accommodate early bag drop for your convenience. Please inquire if this is of interest to your group. –The pool is open and heated from Labor Day through Memorial Day. If you are booking dates bordering these holidays and are interested in having the pool heated, please let us know and we will determine if this request can be accommodated with our winterizing schedule. BUSINESS DISCLAIMERS –We have a minimum age requirement for booking this rental. Reservation holder must be 21 years or older. –We request that guests complete a guest verification process and sign an additional agreement prior to receiving any check-in information. –We require that guests provide a valid credit card and piece of ID for identification purposes only. –We do not accept peer-to-peer payment systems or any prepaid debit cards as methods of payment. –Pets are not allowed at this property. –Packages mailed to the property cannot be received by the host. The host is not responsible for lost or damaged packages and cannot guarantee their arrival. –We use Arlo/Hikvision and Noise Aware in our homes. Arlo/Hikvision is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. NoiseAware is a decibel monitoring system that we use to keep in accordance with local noise regulations.

Our home is located steps from the French Quarter in the historic and culturally vibrant Treme, just blocks from North Rampart Street. This is a safe, friendly, and laid-back area. For those interested in experiencing the gastronomy of the city, some of the best bars, restaurants, and cafes in the country are located in our immediate neighborhood. We are also within walking distance to the African American Museum, St. Augustine Church, Louis Armstrong Park, and other notable sites in NOLA. All guests after booking will receive a list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.
Our home is located directly next to the French Quarter, which makes getting around convenient and easy. We are a ~5 minute walk to the edge of the French Quarter, and a 15 minute walk to Frenchmen Street. The Marigny/Bywater is also reachable by walking, biking, or Uber/Lyft.

“We had a wonderful experience at 1731. It's a very spacious house with all amenities and a great location. It was a perfect place for my daughter's 21st birthday. The only problem we encountered was that we couldn't get the internet to work. They did try to solve it, but I couldn't figure it out. They offered to have someone come fix it, but I was ready for bed. It might be on the pricey side, but it can accommodate a large group. Heirloom is easy to communicate with for all information and needs. We would stay here again.”
