Heating can take 2 to 4 hours, and adjusted temperatures reset to 75°F after 24 hours. The hot tub can be heated up to 104°F in 30-minute cycles. Pool service takes place on Mondays and Thursdays. The National WWII Museum is a short walk down Magazine Street, and the Garden District, Lafayette Cemetery No. 1, and the famed Commander's Palace are a short ride away.
The best way to get around is by foot, bike, Uber, or taxi. The French Quarter is a short taxi or Uber ride away, and the number 11 Magazine bus runs directly along Magazine Street. The home has 1 off-street parking spot in the driveway on the right side of the home. On-street parking is available, but it is on city property and additional charges apply. Magazine Street is a one-way street. Please double-check the posted signs wherever you park, as they may restrict parking and are subject to change at any time, and please be respectful of neighbors by not blocking any driveways. Never park in the French Truck Coffee parking lot next door; it is for their customers only and vehicles will be towed.

It truly felt like like we were home for the night after food and drinking, Neighborhood was quiet and a coffee shop next door how can you beat that !!! The house was like living in a magazine !! “The house is absolutely beautiful. The downstairs is huge and flows unobstructed from the pool table, dining table, kitchen, and living room, providing a large space. We had four couples in the home and we all had ample space, both together and seperate. There is great coffee directly next door to the house, a bourbon bar across the street, and ample restaurants for both breakfast and dinner within a short walk. Highly recommend the home.”

“I'll start by saying that the home is beautiful. Just as described in the photos. Very thoughtfully designed. It was also extremely clean. The only thing a bit disappointing was that the pool was very small and full of leaves. Had to spend a while cleaning it. The main reason this is 4 stars was for two reasons: 1) there was only hot water in half the home. Half the guests had to trek across the entire living room half naked to take their showers in other people's showers. 2) some of the walls to the exterior are extremely thin. While I know this is NOLA and people party late into the night, the house next door partied until 5 am and we felt like we were right there partying with them! It got so bad and for so long that I had to call the police to file a noise complaint. When I brought this up with the hosts, it led to two weeks of phone calls from third party management who tried to communicate with host but couldn't effectively. They gave me minimal money back, but not enough.”
