HOUSE DISCLOSURES –We try our best to accommodate early check-ins, but we want to ensure the entirety of the spacious estate is clean and prepared for arrival. We can often accommodate early bag drop for your convenience. Please inquire if this is of interest to your group. –The pool is open and heated from Labor Day through Memorial Day. If you are booking dates bordering these holidays and are interested in having the pool heated, please let us know and we will determine if this request can be accommodated with our winterizing schedule. BUSINESS DISCLAIMERS -We have a minimum age requirement for booking this rental. Reservation holder must be 21 years or older. -We request that guests complete a guest verification process and sign an additional agreement prior to receiving any check-in information. -We require that guests provide a valid credit card and piece of ID for identification purposes only. -We do not accept peer-to-peer payment systems or any prepaid debit cards as methods of payment. -Pets are not allowed at this property. -Mailing packages to the premises is not permitted. -We use Arlo/Hikvision and Noise Aware in our homes. Arlo/Hikvision is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. The location
The New Bywater is a safe, friendly and laid-back area, rated as one of the top 10 hippest neighborhoods in the country by the New Yorker. We are two blocks from the Marigny/Bywater buzz, and are a short Uber to the French quarter. We are located two blocks from St. Claude, in the St. Roch area, aka the New Bywater. Right across the street is a top rated local coffee shop. We are within close walking distance to some of the best bars and restaurants in New Orleans -- our favorite spot nearby is Bacchannal. Whether you’re a family, colleagues, or a group of friends, the Bywater has something for everyone.
Getting around
The best way to get around is by bike or Uber. The main Bywater dives (The Country Club, Oaxalis, Suis Generis, Elizabeth's, etc.) are less than a 5 minute walk. The French Quarter is a short taxi/uber away; however, many locals prefer to spend time here in the Marigny/Bywater, on Frenchman Street, or in the local galleries, restaurants, bars, and cafes that are all nearby. Walking in this neighborhood is safe, but we do recommend that you be aware of your surroundings at all times and make sure the door is locked as you come and go.

“Amazing place, certain things took away from the stay such as the trash outside was never picked up from the last party, which brought smells and bugs, sheets were not clean such as most places, and decorations were left from the last party. Along with hair being in the bed and on the floor, or even in the toilet. We pressed our way through it to have a good time. space and location was great. found a good restaurant close (Elizabeth's) and a great park area to workout! The pool was a great touch! if your here, don't expect to much, but enjoy!”

“We were so excited to stay here for our trip when we booked it. The house was beautiful and spacious. It was nice to have a pool in the back to chill in at the end of the day or whenever we wanted. The house also came VERY clean both inside and out. Someone came and dealt with the trash outside during our long stay there. The neighborhood was so quiet, and clean. Unfortunately, we did have some issues while we were there. The first one being that the couch in the living room was AWFUL. So uncomfortable! There is only 1 television in the entire house which is unfortunate because we would have loved to chill in our rooms with a tv while my teenager gamed. No balcony access. Had issues with the lighting in the main area and was given confusing directions and dealt with this issue for several days before it was rectified. Also, pretty surprised there wasn’t a Keurig in the house. The pool looks bigger in the picture than it actually is. We did enjoy the stay here otherwise.”

“Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. They were easy to reach and responded quickly whenever we had a question. The house was beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the heated swimming pool—it was a great feature and made our stay even more relaxing. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely rent this property again.
