Our home is located in the beautiful and historic Central City. We love this neighborhood and we think that you will too. Our home is minutes away from the historic streetcars that will take you to the heart of the French Quarter or into the Historic Garden District. At your doorstep are Greek revival and Victorian mansions, museums, and world-class restaurants. Walk down Magazine Street and explore the miles of galleries, antique stores, and boutiques waiting for you there. Or simply walk the other direction a few minutes and tour around the CBD where some of New Orleans' best restaurants await. All guests after booking will receive a personalized list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.
Getting around
Our convenient location and safe neighborhood make this your ultimate travel destination. We are nestled in between the beautiful Lower Garden District and CBD while still close to most major sites. We are a 5 minute walk to the WWII Museum, a minute walk to the St Charles at Erato streetcar stop, and the home features plentiful on-street parking. While there is plenty to see and do here on foot, we are a quick 6-15 minute drive to the Superdome and French Quarter, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions.

“Property was dusty, stained counter tops. Bathroom fixtures lose or broken. Pools and grills were dirty from previous guests. Maintance men came out and cleaned pools that was it. Never cleaned the grills so we could not use them. Would not rent from Heirloom again. Property was not worth the price.”

“I had a party of 14 and booked with Heirloom over 6 months in advance. In April, I was offered a free upgrade with larger beds & what looked to be a rooftop patio with a pool table & scenic view (which we didn't get). I was specifically told the listing states there is only 5 bedrooms but that the unit actually had 8. I was never informed that our party would be split into 2 SEPARATE houses until I asked why we had 2 different wifi & access codes on the day of check-in. Listing states "the listing consists of multiple homes with a similar layout & this listing is for 1 of those homes". Apparently these units are considered a "single unit" solely due to a 4 foot sliding door between the back patios that allows you to walk between each house. Across the 2 homes we are staying in, there were cosmetic, electrical & amenity issues. While the houses were beautiful & the host was prompt and courteous, I probably won't stay with Heirloom again.”

“Both properties were well-cleaned, exactly as described, and very spacious. The only complaints from guests were the small size of the Queen rooms and a TV being in only 1 or 2 rooms rather than in them all. Otherwise, the space was so beautiful and accommodating for everyone. We had an entire itinerary that we barely adhered to because we all wanted to enjoy the amenities of the Airbnb instead. My parents were excited to utilize that beautiful kitchen. Customer support was extremely responsive and often followed up after our calls. My family is already talking about revisiting, so I hope to return soon!”

“Great property everything was as described! We hosted a 35 person family reunion and everyone had a blast. Only downside was appliances did not appear to be well maintained. Upkeep was slacking there were holes in walls, burns on tables, broken window panes, tv not level and washing machine broke but issues were resolved quickly with minimal interruptions. I would definitely stay here again. There were plenty of things to do close by even though it rained each day we were there. The host was very responsive to correct issues.”
