Even though Savin Hill is part of Boston’s biggest neighborhood, it is sometimes overlooked by other Bostonians. Those of us who know about the area’s historic buildings, art galleries, bars, and restaurants are not in a hurry to tell everybody else. Savin Hill is a vibrant mix of young professionals and artists, close enough to downtown to make getting around Boston a breeze, but with enough happening in your immediate environs that you don’t need to go far to discover why our neighborhood is truly a hidden gem. All guests after booking will receive a personalized list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.
The Savin Hill subway station is within walking distance. From Savin Hill, the Red Line will take you directly into the heart of Boston in minutes. The nearest Hubway bicycle rental location is less than a five minute walk away. There are also several private transportation options at your disposal (Uber/Lyft, Zipcar). If you do plan on driving, our street offers free on-street parking.

“I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying at this place…. Blood on blinds, definitely not the same way as the pictures uploaded. I took pictures of everything. The couch is old and nasty. Had bugs. The house is super old it needs to be replaced from the bottom of the foundation all the to the roof… What really made me is we didn’t have a place to put our things & I had a sick brother so we decided to go by the place early to drop our luggage off at the house. Then the host said we can’t go inside because there will be people clean the place. We went at 2pm there wasn’t a single person inside the blinds were open. He made us wait until 4pm to check in. This was the worst experience I have ever had on AIRBNB.”
“This unit was as advertised and check-in/check-out was simple and quick! We had a great time and would recommend it!”
“It was a great stay!”
“Great spot, clean, spacious, and extremely easy to get downtown by car or the T. Definitely recommend!”
“Perfect spot to stay for a weekend. Would definitely recommend. Train very close and easy to navigate.”
“Nice common area and Kitchen with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths which was definitely the draw for this property as all other listings in the competitive price range only seemed to have 1 bath. We stayed for my daughter’s graduation and the 2 bathrooms were key when we had 5 people staying the night. Unfortunately the property was not technically in the city of Boston, it’s located in Dorchester. Ubers ranged from $25-$35 each way to get in and out of the city of Boston and there is really nothing to do in this neighborhood. Plus side: the management company was super responsive and when we had an issue, it was quickly resolved. I would recommend this place but just know going in that it’s located in Dorchester (which I probably should have clarified prior to booking).”
