Getting around
You will be walking distance (less than 5 minutes) to the French Quarter and the convention center, and biking is another fun and convenient option, with scores of rental shops to choose from. Uber and Lyft services are easy and affordable in this compact city. Retail hub Magazine Street is just a short uber ride away, as are some of the city’s other hip neighborhoods, Bywater and the Marigny.

“We were very happy with our stay, the place was in a great location, clean and comfortable, and the host was flexible and responsive. We opted not to rent a car during our stay and walked everywhere or took the streetcar or uber and felt it was in a great central location- about a ten minute walk to the French quarter and many restaurants, bars and cafes within a block or two. The bedrooms are in the back of the unit and were very quiet, dark and peaceful which was appreciated. We would stay again.”

“The location was great! We were within walking distance to all of the local attractions. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. The only problem we had was that our directions stated to go to the door on the left and ours was the door on the right. That created a little confusion when trying to use the code, but we quickly figured out that there was a slight miscommunication. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. I suffer from sleep issues and this place was extremely quiet a night. We loved the apartment and highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit New Orleans.”
