The location
Savannah is renowned for its world-class food, Southern charm, and vibrant nightlife. Located in the Thunderbolt neighborhood, our home is a short drive from both downtown and relaxing Tybee Island. Enjoy some local favorites including Tubby's Tank House for seafood by the river. Savannah has a strictly enforced noise ordinance. Neighborhood quiet hours are 9pm - 8am. If police visit due to noise, we reserve the right to end the reservation immediately without refund. Thanks for helping to keep good relations with neighbors!
Getting around
Our home is located in the beautiful Thunderbolt neighborhood of Savannah. We are minutes to Savannah State University, Wright Stadium, and the Thunderbolt Marina. Uber is a convenient way to get around, and Savannah is a bike-friendly city with plenty of rental outlets downtown. We are located just a 15 min drive to the heart of Savannah's downtown, and Forsyth Park.

“The house is beautiful, and we really enjoyed our stay. That said, the check-in experience was frustrating. When we asked about arriving just a few minutes early, the 4:00 PM check-in time was enforced very strictly, so we planned our day around that. To then arrive at 4:00 and still have to wait another 25 minutes because the house wasn't ready felt inconsiderate of our time. We completely understand that delays happen, but when expectations are set so firmly for guests, it's reasonable to expect the same consideration in return. Also, the trash situation was annoying. The outside cans were over flowing and brought in tons of flys and raccoons. And we scheduled an outdoor dinner and both the flys and the smell of the garbage was unfortunate. That also meant we had to leave the garage sitting on the front porch.”
